If we compare the dream of human society to the description of hell that religions have proclaimed all over the world, we find that they are exactly the same. Religions say that hell is a place of punishment, a place of fear, pain and suffering, a place where fire burns you. Fire is generated by emotions that come from fear. Whenever we feel the emotions of anger, jealousy, envy or hatred, we experience a fire that burns inside us. We live in a dream of hell. — Page 14 “Awakening happens to the living. A man can wake up, see the prison he has done and choose to choose freedom. He can put an end to his appetite for lies and discover the sweet taste of truth. He can persevere and change his point of view from mind to matter to dreaming of light, and then to the exquisite realization of himself as a life. If you put too much effort into doing more than your best, you`ll expend more energy than it takes, and in the end, your best won`t be enough. If you exaggerate, exhaust your body and go against yourself, and it will take longer to reach your goal.
But if you do less than yourself, you submit to frustrations, self-judgments, guilt, and regret. – Pages 76 to 77 “We feel the need to be accepted and loved by others, but we cannot accept and love ourselves. The more self-love we have, the less we will be abused of ourselves. Self-abuse comes from self-rejection, and self-rejection comes from the fact that you have a picture of what it means to be perfect and never live up to that ideal.
